Lyndale Library Guest Speaker Program
The Lyndale College Library Guest Speaker Program was established in 2014 as a means of introducing our students to the authentic stories and achievements of Australians from all walks of life. In its inaugural year the program gave students access to musicians, storytellers, writers and film makers of renown, including Alice Pung, Phillip Gwynne, Jan Wositzky, Archimede Fusillo and Adam Elliot.
We also welcomed personal motivation and resilience author Sam Riggio and former Year 12 Lyndale graduate Despina Karatzias for the launch of her new book on the fundamentals of running a small business in the 21 century.
During the AFL finals period we hosted a skills training seminar with several members of the Melbourne AFL football club and followed it up in Grand Final week with a presentation from triple Geelong premiership ruckmen Brad Ottens.
